Right now it's 100% positive! Beat that!

For a total count of 1. I'm sure in the future I'll want to make more purches online, or perhaps at some point sell a coin. How many transactions does it take before people begin to have faith? My first purchase (when I had 0 feedback) I PM'd the seller ahead of time.

FYI, my screen name is paratrooper_sean

Congrats!

I personally go by the item being sold. If the person has 10 feedback and is kinda new I'm not going to spend hundreds of dollars on an auction. I also judge how much of his feedback is actually from selling.

I start having some faith from 100 feedback on in the same price range as what I am buying and even then I read the last ten feedbacks to have a feeling of the flavure . If it is only Ok or Thanks or something non committant then I hesitate . I have been mildly cheated and giving them an OK just to avoid a retaliatory negative

I may buy from above 5 feedback if the person is in driving distance or can be checked out by telephone ( like a new brick store going ebay and not knowing they are making a big mistake to offer very expensive coins without setting a minimum price limit )I got my best buy from a guy like that
Big Parisian brick store only 7 feedback offering a gold piedfort of which only 99 were made without reserve price . I got it for 3% over melt

So basically, I'm going to have to do a LOT of ebaying before I can sell a coin on my own account. And even then I have to be a regular seller. I guess I'll cross that bridge if I ever come to it.

I have 1 neg on my account which hurt me a long time ago. I have 98.7% now finally but still that makes people weary. I am just finding stuff from my home and other people's stuff just to boost my numbers and prove I am a good seller before I take on the task of being a coin dealer.

The thing is I never plan on being a dealer. There just might be a coin I want to sell here or there, for whatever reason. But you almost have to be a dealer to get the feedback so people will bid with confidence.
