I'm not seeing the wear the others have pointed out. Luster is important but I think this one does have a good shot at MS-65.

What a total slider. Reverse looks MS, obverse is what ANACS thinks it is. Pro tip: Have a look at VAMworld for the VAM-1E series.

Doing VAM attribution makes my head hurt.

That said, VAM 1E sure looks right. :wave

I'm gonna send it in. Not because it's the correct financial play (I'm surely gonna lose $ on this deal), but because of the sheer entertainment value.

It's either send it in, or go see Superman this weekend.

Decisions, decisions.

Rest in Peace

I'm not seeing any wear either. I'd say easily a 64 with a darn good shot at a 65. And it looks to me like the luster is pretty darn good, maybe blocked a bit by the toning but still quite pronounced, and I hate to make assumptions but I bet it's even better in hand, the luster that is. Really nice Morgan! I can't wait to see what the TPG's say.

I'd say that this is a grading call that would need to be looked at in hand or with more photos. It looks really dull in the two photos. But, the actual skin looks really nice, just dull. If the luster is great when you rotate it, I think you might get 65, though the couple pronounced scratches around the chin might knock it down a bit.

The coin shows no wear but an MS.65 means no scuffs no marks, on the face I counted 4 scuffs one deep, and on the back one large one. I do not think it has a chance.

It looks MS65 the mark on the back might hurt, but probably not, I'd expect MS65 from PCGS but ANACS is no been very generous lately probably MS64 from them.

Good luck! This one is a really tough guess from static photos, I think seeing it in hand and being able to rotate it to see luster and marks is a must, sure hope you get a high grade on it. You did specify and pay for a VAM variety designation I hope.
