I'm not sure where I saw this thread, but they were saying that a harder eraser left marks, but that a very soft eraser left no traces....I sill might try it if I can find a coin where it doesn't matter. For now, it's Father's Day and there are other plans!

Buddy - don't give up the search.

On another subject - I tried the soft eraser on the milk spots on a throw away coin - doesn't leave marks on the coin and the milk spots are still there!! I wish there was a way to remove them...
