Just the way it arrived in the mail this morning, with my address edited out for obvious reasons.

I have bought from Asy and there was regular mail postage on the envelope. Yours was probably missed.

If you've ever received anything from asyn the envelope's usually got quite a collection of older stamps on it. All or nothing I guess...

CP are careless...I received mails from asyn many time the stamps not cancelled originally. Unfortunately, the destination CP may simply cross the stamps using pen or marker...that's very ugly.

My guess on asyn is that he buys (rips off) people's coin and stamps collection and then sells them to us. I have no problem with people making a profit but I have been in some of these coin and stamp shops where shady owners offer next to nothing for collections of stamps or coins telling the people that their collections are worthless. Feel kind of sorry for those folks who might be turning in an inherited collection and getting nowhere near the true value.

Most stamp collections, after the 1940s, literally are worth nothing. I tell people wanting to sell their stamp collections from the 1970s and 1980s, to 'lick them and stick them', if they want the best bang for their buck.
I usually can buy stamps from some dealers for 60% of face value, and my envelopes can look just Asyn's... Cheaper than buying modern postage (and no tax)...

Quote: Most stamp collections, after the 1940s, literally are worth nothing. , which is exactly how they manage to offer free shipping. @JeyRey2000, I believe there is a thread somewhere on this forum discussing where they get their coins, and if I recall correctly, the end conclusion was that some of the coins are "unwanted's" from Canadian Coin and Currency, but I do not personally know if this is true.

I bought a bunch of Canadian stamps from ebay for less than face value. That is what I always use to mail out letters or packages. It is cheaper than buying from CP.

I pay 60 % of face for my stamps. I buy $300 at a time.

I never thought of that when I first posted my picture, but it certainly makes sense. With no postmarks though how do you know these older stamps, or any stamp for that matter, have been cancelled?

I think that The envelopes without stamps are delivered generally in the downtown core area of Toronto and maybe elsewhere. I think they use some kind of low price courier.
