Possible Lamination Flaw's? - Coin Community Forum

Enworb, yes there are just two coins, a 1988 $1 & a 1966 20c. Lam Flaws? Nancy, Thanks for your keen eyes. The 20c coin is just one coin. I have a Lamination Flaw on the Reverse of the 20ct coin, but I never expected a error on the Obverse? A slight off centre strike you said! Cool but what am I looking at with this coin? Thanks jpl.. Have a look at the Rim area I've pointed arrows at, notice the extra ridge showing there. That's an indication of a slightly off centre strike. In this instance, it would not add anything to the value, but keep an eye out for them as sometimes it can be 'off centre' by quite a bit and then it would add a bit to the value. life is a mystery to be lived not a problem to be solved Report this Post to the Staff
