Any idea what the dealers are offering to buy the 2010P and 2011P (mint version complete set of 10 coins)?

Also are these coins listed in the grey sheet? Thanks

What dealers are offering will depend on the dealer. Some use price guides some dont. Some have customers for something some dont. Some view the P pucks as nothing more than bullion others dont.

If you were looking to sell ebay seems to be your best bet to get collector value for them.

As far as the grey sheet I have no clue since I dont have one. I think they have pretty much everything though so I would imagine theyre in there

What were you expecting someone to come in with a list of your local dealers and a breakdown of what they offer for each?

What I was expecting below

Some decent honest PERSON / Human being
To step up and say

Hey you know these complete sets are changing hands at around X number of $'s between the buy and sell side within dealers.

Take Care

The shop I visit buys them at $4 over spot (per ounce) and they don't distinguish the collector versions and the bullion versions.

Thats funny since dealers dont all view them the same. You know you could always try asking your dealer what they would pay for it since thats what you seem to be getting at

I need somebody to do all my research, reading and homework, too. Stop by at my office to pick up your list of assignments.
Make it snappy and remember that I retain the prerogative of being disrespectful, presumptuous and abrasive.

Fatfreddy,
I have a GOOD idea what these sets are worth and was trying to get a
FEEL around here for such sets from the so called experts.

This is worse than a pawn shop around here.

Take care

You got the answer you just didnt like it.

You asked an impossible question about a nitche product that most LCSs dont even stock. Theres stories here all the time of people getting their P pucks for the price of bullion because its just silver to their dealer, theres even one in this thread.

You then got mad because you werent given a specific answer about what your dealer would give you for yours or sell his to you for.

Heres where you can order a greysheet for 5 dollars

http://www.greysheet.com/web_order/...ssu_form.asp

Your question was ignored in the other thread because there is no answer to it. Its quite clear you either want to buy or sell some and youre trying to see how much you can push the prices in your favor. No one knows what your dealer buys and sells for aside from the dealer and anyone that asks him.

No one posts greysheet prices on here because most people who use it are dealers. If their customers find the tread with them posting the prices well they just hurt their own margins.

But please keep insulting everyone else because we dont have the pulse of your local market

There is a secondary market for certain items like the 2009 UHR, 25th anniversary set, ASE proofs etc that does NOT go off grey sheet, but is a very active market with good prices or better prices than grey sheet at most times.

The issue with the 5 oz P's is the bid / offer is anywhere from melt and up to about $100 per coin depending on year with some 2012P going higher.

I was not trying to be insulting just asking a straight up question to see if any one else has / having the same issue with these wide price margins for these 5 oz P version coins.

IF a similar question relating to currency was posed on a currency forum someone would have stepped up and said this is the current bid/ask spread including dealers.

Ceylon---When you make such an aggressive point of referring to "...the so called experts..." in a font that you go to all the trouble of bolding,
italicizing and coloring in red, you are most certainly going to great efforts to be sarcastic, derogatory and disparaging about and toward other
posters. In addition, your statement that "This is worse than a pawn shop around here." is one more intentionally derogatory and insulting cheap shot.

That style of overly conspicuous effort is nothing less than genuinely insulting, so don't now start playing sanctimonious and trying to cover your
butt with statements like "I was not trying to be insulting..." As one old philosopher once said, "Excuses don't count. Results do."

The point is that you were genuinely insulting, and whether you were insulting intentionally or just because that's the way you naturally are is immaterial.

If there is somewhere a currency forum where the participants instantly leap to the task of satisfying your every want and complying with your every whim,
it would seem that would be the appropriate environment for you.

Whats the point in letting this thread go any longer. OP has obviously insulted most coin community family members and apparently is not going to get his answer. The only thing left is more words that have nothing to do with the original question. Take it outside
