This could be the day. It's $20.06 and diving like a stray meteor at the moment. Gold isn't doing any better. It may end up sub $1300 by the average joe's java time in a few hours.

So how's everyone feeling about the recent metals massacre? Happy or irritated?

when silver was higher it was easier to spot cheap silver here
so, I'm kind of happy that public can allow silver for cheap but I'm not happy that I don't have arbitrage anymore ))

so, what I do is buying silver numis ... of course with premium but those keep their value pretty good ...

hopefully silver drops more and I meet australian year of the horse coin fully armed :)

both, happy to see it fall after watching it for so long and hoping it would hit but irritated current family financial situations and priorities like food taking up all of my paycheck and preventing me from buying some.

Happy and irritated. Happy to see bargain prices that get me a lot more silver per dollar spent and to see my numis
and semi-numis stuff pretty much holding it's value, but irritated to see what low-premium bullion I have losing value.

But, that's life. Anybody not prepared to take setbacks like this shouldn't buy PM's and I knew that when I got into the game.

My local B&M is buying common morgans for $13 & selling @ 3 for &45. Something I thought I'd seen the last of. I dont really need nor lust over them, but worth scooping up in case siler goes stupid again.

Wha!? My local shop is buying commons for $22 selling for $25 because of the high premiums he can get if he ships them. I should buy all that your guy has and sell them to my guy and make a truckload of money.

I need to call Kramer and borrow Newman's postal truck to go across state lines, though.

Even with silver falling so far, most local places are locking in on a price. some still at $30 for ASE and some around $25 for ASE.

Dealers are just hoping people rush out to buy the dip like they did 2 months ago. If the buyers stay away the premiums will fall.

Happy to see it nearing $14, which was when it was at when my parents bought their first 2oz of gold at around $600 each :). Irritated that some of the silver I bought hasn't still been paid off on my credit card due to 7 months 0% financing lol and that I have a vacation to go to instead of actually finding a job and stacking up.

This is the email I received from APMEX, here's the subject line: "[ APMEX] Silver Plummets Below $20, Gold Below $1300 - Buy Now at 2010 Prices!"

Sound EXCITING/ENTICING right?

Here's the catch, their price was locked before the drop, not like a fixed premium over spot. This is how the business goes, I guess....

Not everyone is the same though. The small ad bar on this forum advertising Merit Gold & Silver is selling ASE for spot +$2.69. Better business than APMEX for sure (from buyer perspective).

I am both happy and irritated but more happy than irritated.

I am able to get more silver for my $$$ but it gonna make it harder for me to unload some stuffs to pay down my debt..... It's hard to jiggle with both hand (paying down debt and accumulate asset at the same time). What would you do if you are in my shoe?

Pay off all debt then worry about investing in the unstable pm market. Good news bottom is close as is cost more on worldly average to mine silver currently verses its spot value....
