Brisbane's annual coin show is happening this weekend. I and several other forum members will be attending the show, some as volunteers, some as dealers, some just to shop and browse. I'll be one of the volunteers which the local coin clubs are supplying to man the information booth. The coin clubs will also have their usual display area.

Sorry, scoutjim, there were at least five of us there today (Friday) - Brissyboy, nancyc, toast, muckeye and myself - but I didn't think to take a picture. Edit to add: don't worry, bigfella - I'm on it.

Well just been to the ANDA show and picked up my "B" mintmark coins.
Those who asked me to get them some...they will be in the mail Monday.

Went to mt first Coin Show yesterday & today. Met 5 other forum members, Sap, Brissyboy, Muckeye, Toast and BM1947. All great guys. Got my allocated lot of 'B' MM coins & passed most over to Brissy to go towards filling requirements for other members. I think we may have managed to get enough to make everyone happy. Had a good time, bought stuff I couldn't resist, spent too much, but, hey, it's only money & as the saying goes, I can't take it with me.

As Nancy said, we had lots of fun and went home happy. Sadly my bus was late , it was 9 PM when I got home My first coin show but not my last, I hope. It was great to meet other Forum members and put some faces to the names. I was like a small boy at a zoo for the first time, running from table to table and trying to see everything at once. I must have got overly excited, I even had money left when I got home. Even after stopping at the RSL for an hour. The especial part of the experience was the other Forum members. Meeting them was like running into old friends and made an 'out of towner' feel comfortable amongst a large throng of strangers. Was also able to get aquainted with a couple of dealers that I've known over the phone for a few years. They're great dealers and worth a plug, Vic Power (VPCoins) and Peter Small (Mostly Small Change). Looking forward to the next one already. regards,
