I'm sorry if some of the coins are unreadable it's the best I can do with a cell phone.

I know some people may be wondering. No the shiny wheat Pennies have not been cleaned.
That is how they were found. Any information or knowledge about the coins would be greatly appreciated.

You've got an interesting mix of coins there! A good number of different denominations, coins from multiple countries, a variety of shapes and metallic compositions â€" you can learn much about the world by learning about what you have.

I would suggest checking with your local library to see if they have copies of the Krause Standard Catalogue of World Coins for the periods 1801-1900 and 1901-2000. You can use those two catalogues to learn more about almost all of the coins you've shown.

Check out that fat man Chinese coin. There have been a lot of fakes, but if your grandfather received this a long time ago it could be real and worth a lot.
