Salutations everyone! I was recently looking through all of my coins and I came across this here 1952 nickel! I was wondering if you could tell me how much it is worth, or if there is anything particularly special about it!

Actually it may be worth a couple of cents more than that for the value of the nickel metal. :-) Here's a link to the price list http://www.coinsandcanada.com/coins...ts-1937-1952 This page also has pictures of some of the minor varieties for this year you can check for if you like.

This 5 cent piece is mainly steel so I agree with Tripoli......5 cents. If you put it in the 25c bin at a trade show it might get a bite though.

I've got a bunch of them in mint condition and when I looked at selling them, 5 cents is all that I could get for them. I find they feel kind of icky in my hands and not nice to handle. But keep looking, sooner or later you'll come across the gem of a life time.
