I think that the ultra part is decided by eye appeal?

Ultra part means absolutely everything in the obverse devices must be heavily frosted, including the corner of the eye and the deeper folds on the gown....

I think this falls under SPPs previous comment on another thread of "throw the book out and pay what it takes". My personal rule of thumb is +10% for Cameo, +25 to 50% for Heavy Cameo and + 100% for UHC. That may be why I don't have many UHCs though!

I found this coin in the wild, and cut it out of a proof-like set... half my UHC 1-cent coins have been found that way over the past decade... You just have to be patient, and persistent.

I already turned down a $200 offer on this coin. Not because I thought it was not enough money, but because it simply is not for sale...

interesting, thanks for the honest reply. I would have assumed that its not for sale, I too would keep it in my collection for a long time. very nice find. I will have a closer look at it at the next coin expo I hope :P
