I am lucky enough to have seen a TOTAL solar eclipse.
It looks JUST like the way you see it in pictures!
Absolutely weird, and a slightly sinister.

No wonder ancient cavemen would have been so frightened!

Hi March and welcome.

Unlike sel I've never 'seen' a full eclipse although I was in Cornwall for the one depicted on the note. Right place, right time, wrong clouds...but the experience was still awesome.

Yes. But with one mention. Only banknotes with serial numbers : 001A.... are specially issued with the folder dedicated to the event !

I wasn't trying to imply or claim that my note was a special folder issue. It's a straightforward circulation note. I just thought that other members would like to see more details and the other side.
