Today was my lucky day! I stopped by a couple of pawn shops on the way home from work today. Struck out at the first stop, the guy there said he had not seen coins of any kind come in for over a month. Second stop paid off. I scored a 1999 ASE for only $0.29 over spot (yesterdays NYMEX close of $19.66). That is correct, a 1oz ASE for $19.95. I also got a very nice 1884-O Morgan for $24, But I paid dearly for a rough looking 63-D Franklin at $14.99. Dude would not budge on the price of the half. Only other thing he had was 12 VG common date Buffaloes at $3 each, needless to say I passed on those because I can get nicer common Buff's for about $7 a roll.
