Okay so I am kinda just getting into currency collection. I havn't purchased anything yet, just pulled stuff from circulation.

I was happy yesterday finding 2 $1 consecutive serial #'s

So I just got back from DMV and I received this 2009 $20 radar as change.

Is this considered a true radar or not because of the (4) 1's in the middle? I.E. is a true radar like #12344321 instead of #12333321

Either way I am going to keep her!

I would consider it a true radar. I am more a coin collector, so wait for a currency expert's opinion.

It is a true radar, a three digit radar.

A radar reads the same from left to right or right to left. If it was a "true" radar wouldn't it end in a J?

It is a true radar... prefix letters are never included as part of the RADAR...

I honestly cannot speak as to what premium U.S. notes get for RADARS... but canadian notes:

"last issue Journey notes" derrive $5 = $25 / $10 = $30 / $25 = $30 / $50 = $70 / $100 = 120

Multicoloured notes with 11 digits
1 = 20
2 = 25
5 = 45
10 = 45
20 = 85
50 = 135
100 = 170

John is correct although not sure how it works on big head 5, 10 etc to 100 notes.
On Older series $5's and Up there are "true" Matching Prefix and Suffix radars and repeaters.

Here in the USA "true radars and repeaters" do command higher premium's than a regular radar or repeater

See ebay below as an example
