Gold Coin - Polished Or Not ? - Coin Community Forum

GaryN Valued Member Canada 293 Posts	Posted 07/02/2013 7:37 pm I'm still trying to tell how to know if a coin is polished or not. On the coin below, it looks really good, but as you will see, on of the "D"s has a bit of a hayze around and inside it, but another does not. I would think that if part of the coin was cleaned, it would all have been cleaned. If you are definately sure of what to look for and can tell me if this coin is cleaned forsure or not, I would really appreciate your expertize.
