I found a Fugio here locally priced at $75.

The detail would be AG with a partial date visible. The surfaces appear to have been polished or rubbed but not whizzed or anything dramatic. No other problems to speak of like corrosion or such.

Is this a buy at $75? I am contemplating getting back in my car and heading over there now to buy it.

What, are you starting an Orphans' Home for Wayward Lowball Fugios?
I believe there's no such thing as a bad Fugio, but no idea what they're going for.

If it's a decent planchet and the polishing is not real bad, a readable date and in this condition, ask him if he'd do $65. That's a fair price.

Haha Philly! No, just expanding my copper collection. These bad boys tend to be pricy so I am just being "penny wise".

It has taken me some time to play around with different coins and I am finally settling on early American coins and such. At this point, anything in the 1700s for under $100 is almost an auto-buy for me. I also don't tend to buy coins on ebay so when I find something in person, I tend to "pounce".

If it has a eye appeal I say pull the trigger.

Without seeing it, not corrosion just wear and some mishandling, I'd say yes, I'd buy it.
