3.87 grams, 28 mm. Obverse reads to me "Christiana D.G. Regina Dan? Iae.? D.L.B.?"

a google search, turned up http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christ...en_of_Sweden
so it was probably a coin made during her reign 6 November 1632 â€" 6 June 1654 or after her coronation 20 October 1650

Can't find anything in Krause that appears to match Swedish coins of the period. Additionally, I can find no reference to Sweden in the legend. I tried searching for Danish queens named Christiana but there was nothing likely.

It isn't a coin. A Google exact-phrase search for "LVX FVGAT" turns up jetons from Lorraine, like this one. The "CHRISTIANA D.G. REGINA DANIAE" legend also appears on Lorraine jetons, like this one, though I too am confused as to who "Queen Christiana of Denmark" might have been. Neither Denmark nor Lorraine had a queen or duchess named Christiana, or any variant thereof, in 1587.

Great site. Thank you so much. I guess my mistake was googling Lux Fugat not Lvx Fvgat.

Looks like the date of this jeton may be 1574.

Christina of Denmark (November 1521 â€" 10 December 1590) was a Danish princess who became Duchess-consort of Milan, then Duchess-consort of Lorraine. She was also the Regent of Lorraine in the years 1545â€"1552 during the minority of her son and a claimant to the thrones of Denmark, Norway and Sweden.

In Lorraine, Christina served as advisor to her son and acted as his regent whenever he was absent. At the same time, she styled herself the rightful "Queen of Denmark, Norway and Sweden".
