Hi,
On this 81 the ty in liberty has that line thru the letter's. My scan doesn't show it very good, To me it doesn't look like damage, To rounded and smooth. What ya think?

81And-90-Lincoln's?

On the 90 the eye area look's differant than the other 90's I've looked at Here again the scan doesn't show it very well!

Is the line raised or more like a cut. If it's a cut then mystery sold...it's damaged. It's is a raised line it could be a "die crack" but I haven't seen one like that before.

Both appear to be normal coins. The 1981 is damage...that's just a heavy hit on the coin.

Look's like both raised and a cut, But if it is damage would you still see the die lines meet on both sides up to the raised area? Seem's to that if it was hit with something it would squash the die line's?
