I went to the local swap meet this afternoon and one guy had a tray of foreign coins in which I found a VF 1917 Canada large cent. Expressing interest I asked how much? $20!! he came back, I expected him to say $1 at most and told him it was not worth more than that. This same guy had a load of circulated 1957 US $1 Silver Certificates and wanted $40 each for them.

Those are ridiculous prices! He probably bought them for around a dollar.

Ha! That's what I'd do. Offer him a bunch for $10 a piece.. He should buy em in a heartbeat right? I mean, he'd double his money easily, right?

I buy Sean the collector's theory... if it's old... it may be gold.
