Aside from a major vertical crease through the center, like it was folded in half for a long time, it's in great shape. Especially for the age, having been circulated this long.

They're probably worth $22.50 each. At the best $25. But I agree those are AMAZING finds. Someone must've spent Grandaddys collection.

I'm always amazed at how little the US currency seems to be worth for even amazingly well preserved bank notes. I don't know if it is a consequence of so much currency being put into print or that there simply isn't the demand from collectors. That second Andrew Jackson is lovely. If you find a 1934 banknote from Australia in half that condition it fetches loads more.

gweidion - I think the reason for the lower values on these older small size notes is like you said, from the amount printed and also because of how little our currency has changed in appearance since the initial small size notes in 1928. Checked the Friedberg book just to see the printage and the 1934-A series had 380 million plus notes and the 1934-C had 179 million printed!
