Hello everyone! I would like to confirm...my understanding is there are no known 1982 small date copper pennys that have been verified? I really hope I don't look like an idiot here, but I believe I have found one. I have weighed it and it weighs 3.1 grams. Weighed it multiple times and it is the same as a pre 1982. It is dirty, not a high grade but you can see the date clear. If it is legit, any ideas how valuable? I will be posting pics in the morning.

Thanks fuzzy! I actually was just looking at that link shortly ago. I'm pretty darn excited but not getting my hopes to high just yet.
So, there aren't even any large date totally copper cents in that year either?

Hmmm...I'm not sure this is a small date..I'm working on pics now before I go to bed. I do know this 1982 d is definitely 3.1 g though.

Looks like a large date. The 2 isn't right for the small date.

Sorry to say, but the lower section of the '2' appears straight like a large date variety.
