If it were me, I would go ahead and get the 1882 S graded, the others are common enough and are not as high of a grade. I'm thinking its MS something, not sure of an exact grade. It might be PL, not sure on DMPL though.

Agree with slowaltima. The others are cool though and definitely should be welcomed into your collection with open arms.

I agree. The second coin looks good from the pics, but the lighting makes it hard to determine the reflectivity of the fields. I would YOLO it and send #2 in. :)

The 1882-S would have to be AT LEAST MS-65 for it to be worth it.
IMO, I would not risk it on this coin (or any of the coins posted).
Nice coins regardless, enjoy them as they are.

Nice pickups! I like the toning on the '82, but then again I'm a sucker for toning. I agree with jerseyben, I wouldn't send these in for grading shooting for a 65.. But still nice coins to add to your collection!
The 82 does look pretty nice if the photos not "hiding" anything (are they the sellers pics or do you have them in hand?. If it could make a 65 then yes, slabbing would be worth it to me.. Or if it could get the DMPL designation, but from these photos I'm just not seeing it as being designated as such, honestly I don't even see it as PL. it does look clean and shiny but it doesn't have that reflective fields or frosty devises that I would expect to see on a PL/DMPL Morgan..

It is shiny, I just have bad lighting. I'll try to get a better picture.

I agree with the thoughts above. The 1882-S would be the only one worth sending in, but I am guessing it will come back in the MS-63 range (still a nice coin). I would only send it in if it had a chance at MS-65. even in MS 64 I don't think it is money well spent.1882-s is typically well struck. just my 2 cents.

My thoughts too. 82-S only.
I do not think it will get a 65.

The 1878 8TF could be a variety which would be worth substantial money even in the grade shown. The only way for us to help figuring that variety would be large and clear images of the bottom of the wings where they join the legs; failing that, you'll have to figure it out using this resource: http://www.vamworld.com/1878-P-2012...bution_guideChances are, it's not one of the really rare varieties, but if it is, it could be a 4-figure coin. As regards the 1882-S, it could be "shiny" because it's been polished; the images don't differentiate clearly-enough. I worry about the toning I'm seeing, because although the color is spot-on, it has the appearance of something recent. What does the cheek look like, compared to the fields, in terms of luster?

I'm not too sure about the 82-s. It looks polished to me and not PL. I would like to see a few more photos of it under different lighting to get a better look at the surfaces and that tone.

The 1878 is not one of the rare vams. I'll try to get a better picture of the 1882
