Morgan Dollar Markings - Coin Community Forum

Cowboy90 New Member United States 10 Posts	Posted 07/18/2013 3:25 pm Hi guys. The Morgan dollar I bought arrived in the mail today. It is in good condition but it has an "x" or "t" carved behind her hair. Does this mean something or not? Report this Post to the Staff

Morgan dollar only melt value? It is not UNC. I agree that it likely has been polished. A VF coin with this amount of wear shouldn't be shiny.
