Are the coins really in a 2x2 or does the set come with a giant penny?

The is a gold "series" called smallest coins of the world
They seem to be made in several countries and
typically are 10 mm in diameter when I see 10 I run
The weigth is typically 0.5 grams
Somewody has some assayed and there was no gold in them
some have up to half gold

For a small "real gold" coin you might want to Look at the Tonga 10 Pa'anga 1980 FAO coin. It is .916 gold and weighs just 4 grams.

By the way there was also a 20 Pa'anga FAO coin issued at the same time weighing exactly twice as much.

Nearly all series do a tenth of an ounce 3.11 gram
Several Nations do a twentieth of even a twentififths of an ounce
Do no sneeze it may blow away

Anything to make a buck I guess. Reminds me of the coaster size coins out not to long ago. I bit on that one and have a box full of coins the size of coasters that aren't worth what I paid for them.

In Canada it is illegal to deface or damage the queen... does high voltage shrinking count?

Do they sell these on the Home Shopping Channel yet? I'm sure if you wait long enough, they will eventually be sold in either silver or gold. I can hardly wait!!!

Very interesting, triggersmob. I think the Washington and Sac dollars came out looking the best.
Thanks for posting the link!
