I have known Jim for over three decades, even before he started his auction business. I bought a nice British Half Sovereign of 1842 (lot 1725), and a base gold Celtic stater (lot 1684), from his last auction (#102). I am paying him a visit in his Macquarie Street premises tomorrow (16th July), so I should have a short chin wag with him, if he is there.
omf: I will certainly ask about his next auction, and get some 'preliminaries' of what may be up for sale.

I caught up with ALL of them: Jim Noble, Colin Pitchfork, and Mark Freehill.
The Auction will be held in Melbourne, catalogue available 'on line' tomorrow (Wed. 6th July). I had a chance to read through a proof copy of the catalogue, before it goes to the printers.
I am interested in two lots: An ancient Greek gold stater of Lysimachos, and a multiple lot of reasonably nice condition late Roman bronzes. I viewed these two lots before they are to be taken to Melbourne.

There is a complete penny collection with all coins seemingly cleaned by the same method which indicates that the vendor probably did the cleaning after the coins were acquired. Between the 1920, 1925 and 1930 penny there's a good $150,000 lost to cleaning.

At least $150,000, how could a collector do that?
Having said that the whole collection looks cleaned, the 1918, 1926 and 1933/32 overdate pennies as examples are not nominated as cleaned but in my opinion they have had a bit of a dip/clean in something.
The 1915H and 1928 pennies look like about the only ones that haven't been cleaned, such a shame.

Yes they are a the most reliable auction house in Australia they grade very accurately and generally disclose problems with any coins. As such they nearly always bring more money than expected with most coins. Otherwise I very highly recommend them.

My personal opinion.
If you have very expensive rare coins IAG is the way to go. Nobles are the most consistent and you will get a good price. Downies/Roxbury are pretty much on par, good local auction houses but maybe not with the same bidder base as noble/iag and Status I don't trust at all (that's as a buyer though rather than a seller).

Anytime unfortunately I have been checking them all for ages and still can't find a single 1915H or 1921* Shilling in EF

Imagine how satisfying it will be when you finally get one OMF. It will make the coin 10 times better having to wait and hunt for it.
