The first "T" in trust looks closer to the 002 than the 007.

I think it may be a 002 because of the top ot the " T" in LIBERTY and the more pronounced doubling of the "U" in TRUST more clselt resemble the 002. it could, of course, just be wishful thinking. It will be interesting to see what some af the other experts have to say.

Coop to the rescue yet again. After comparing my coin to each of the first six pics (I couldn't get number seven to open), I have absolutely no doubt that DrDon is right, it is a 002. It is amazing to me that a much scrutinized coin like a 1972-P DDO could still be in circulation after 41 years. That knowledge makes me hopeful and excited for the finds to come for all of us! Thanks everybody!

Quick question: Should I use Verdi-Care on the coin?

Sorry the link doesn't exist. 1-6 images are all there is. Glad to help out. I find the side by side the best way to ID intricate differences.
