Well, okay, they'll all look pretty similar, but it's nice to show off. All of mine are from circulation, rescued in under a week after the first issues: the Shannon toonie isn't as nice (I didn't find one for months), but my great-grandma saved it for me so I won't go switching it out.

Where did you get this album? RBC had something similar for the Vancouver Winter games.

There are free stacks of them at every coin shop I've visited. The Mint gives them away free because they make money when you keep coins from circulation, and the shops distribute them free because they hope you'll buy the coins from their store.

That HMS Shannon is definitely the best Toonie released to date.

1999 is better. :P sticky tongue!
All I need is the two Secord chocolates and I'm done. Not a hard set to finish if you get the coins as they come out.

Well, I haven't put the Laura Secord coins into my card, yet, but here's what I've got from the series. To the lower left is a collector card still in original envelope. Here are more coins from the collection, in an album page. I really like the H.M.S. Shannon two dollar coins. As much as I enjoy coins, I really look forward to the box of "Lauras" that my children give me for Christmas!

I not only complete it...I added two plate blocks of 1812 stamp to it to make it a super set.

Those look great - I love the colored inlays that Canada has been issuing for various quarter series. Very unique.

Peter, sorry for late reply. Thanks for Paisa's reply before I do. Yes, both blocks are available at Post Canada. One disadvantage is the left-top corner of Brock and Tecumseh is not listed -- I don't know why -- so you have to buy the 4 blocks and use other 3 as postage. (However, the right-top one, with French title, is available.)
