Why is this seller advertising his 1895 V nickel as an 1885 V nickel?:

Seriously, do people not even look at the pictures before bidding. The coin is obviously an 1895 clear as day.

He'd probably appreciate the feedback actually. That's a customer service nightmare waiting to happen. As blatant as it is, mistakes happen.

Even the title of your post is wrong lol. Mistakes happen. It should say 1885 nickel that is a 1895 nickel. At least, that the way that sounds right to me. The way it is now made me think there was a 1885 listed as a 1895. But maybe thats just me.

In any case, message the seller and see what happens.

thanks for the info ssuperdave. :)

since the 1895 is not a key date that would imo rule out the seller accidently putting it as a 1885 as they said key date a few different times.
