It's my first ebay posting and I'm looking for any suggestions or changes for future postings.

I tried to cover all bases. The picture quality probably could be better but that's the best I can do with my wife's digital cam.

Thanks for any feedback!

Sean

I'm sure Bobby will be along soon and tell you to use the entire title block to your advantage. I don't see mercury or dime in the title anywhere. You will potentially lose out on some quick searchers without that. I briefly looked at the rest of the listing and I think it's very nice. I think the pictures are pretty good, and being in the holder says it all anyway.

I personally would probably exclude the "I'm not a dealer" sentence as that is all too common with the sheisters IMO.

All in all, very nice listing AND coin.

Nice coin, nice listing. I agree with tights above; always use the full title bar to your advantage to catch key word searchs, include Mercury or Dime or both, even if you have to abrev. some of the non-keywords to get the key words in.

I think you can revise with no charge, I think I had this problem once and couldn't revise the title bar, but could add comments into the secondary bar with an extra charge. Can't remember it's been so long ago but someone here will know.

good job!

You should be able to revise the title for as long as there are no bids on it.

Title Title Title

I just searched for 1945 D Mercury Dime and you're not there.

1945-D NGC Mint State 67 Full Bands should be more like this.....

US COINS 1945-D 1945D Mercury dime NGC MS67 MS-67 FB

FYI... Dashes also count as spaces in a search so the date combos above will catch 1945D, 1945 D, and 1945-D. And the MM combos will catch MS67, MS 67, and MS-67.

Coins is one of those magical ebay words that the plural or singular will catch either.

There's also a thread around here that shows how to use your CC Gallery pics in your listings so you don't have to use ebay picture services. If noone find it I'll find it a little later.

Darn. I tried to revise the Title and it won't let me because there's it's been bidded. Any suggestions or am I kind of stuck? I wonder if I can remove the bids, and send them a message explaining the title revision.

Nope, it still won't let you revise it. The only way would be to end it and start it over if you think it's worth it.

What would be the draw back, besides the ebay charges for the original listing?

Well, not even that is an issue really, if you relist off the ended listing you'll get the fees back when the second one sells. You just need to kill the bids FIRST, then end it, or use this tool, works great.

Thanks for all your help, bobby! One last question, what are the choices of #days for an auction? I want it to end on a Sunday evening.
