I've recently been bitten by the paper notgeld bug. I've got about two dozen notes at the moment. I was looking for some holders/pages for them but everything at my local coin shop is geared towards American currency. It seems the most of the notgeld comes in several standard sizes. Are there any premade holders/pages for notgeld on the market?

I too have been bitten by this bug (I've got about 40 pieces of notgeld) and there isn't really any sort of holder specialised for notgeld. I just use the standard 3 row page and arrange the notgeld as best I can in there.

I have a small notgeld collection - about 6,000 pieces or so but it very quickly gets to the stage where the storage costs more than the notes themselves so I just use polly pockets. Not ideal as they can slip and slide around - but it's the lowest cost solution.

When it comes to notgeld 6,000 can be considered a small collection. Mine is about 4,000 pieces. It is easy to accumulate this many notes when you are paying less than a dollar a piece and many are simply given to you.

Arnold Keller, the German cataloguer, once commented that his collection of over 100,000 different pieces of German notgeld was only about 75,000 pieces short of a complete set.

I also have a small collection of about 5,000 notgeld notes and pretty much use the same storage as Ark uses.
