Awww I'm just teasing about the 16-D, I have no idea what it is date wise or mint. I just picked it up for fun. Lol he did mention that its possibly a very rare coin. I bid it up to .99 cents.

Maybe it's my wishful thinking for you,but the date does look like 1916 to me and there appears to be a very faint "D" where the mint mark would be.
