I check for Henning nickel every once in a while. I saw this one today, but I am not seeing the die markers. Does anyone else have opinions. 121152918287

I have my doubts as well. The color of the coin itself suggests the wartime silver alloy.
I've also come a cross a few 1944 that for whatever reason had a very faint mintmark that wasn't apparent except upon close examination. Probably due to a combination of circulation and weak strike.

The first time I ever heard of the Henning Nickel was reading an article about it in Coinage and it did talk about the specific die characteristics. As best as I can recall the article would have been published before Bush Jr. got to the White House in 2001.

This is a Henning nickel. It was struck from one of the reverse dies he made that didn't have the defect in the R of PLURIBUS.

Not going to bid on this one Although it is very cool We do have a MAD tool that will tell the Henning alloy, from the alloy the US mint used in nickels during the war. If the winner is a CCF member glad to ship one at a discount. Pyrbob has said it is one and that's good enough for me. If your in doubt, this is a positive tester for manganese used by mint to save nickel metal.
