Soliciting the opinions of the more experienced regarding this coin owned by an acquaintance. Weight = ~26.2 gm.
I see red flags, but I'm no expert on these. Please describe the give-aways in either case. Thanks for looking in.

The overall design looks OK.
The picture is not that sharp / high def to be sure. But the coin looks either sea salvaged (that could explain the lower weight, although a gram is starting to be problematic) ... or cast.
Could you post clear pictures of the edge ? Checking it is a must-do diagnostic.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to get clear shots of the edge when taking the above photos, and the owner is someone I see only occasionally. I can report that the edge was very 'mushy' to my eye, and just did not look good. I suspect after the intense discussion we had about this piece, that the owner has already returned it to the seller.

Edge pictures are critical for this type of coins. The observe and reverse sides are easily imitated but not the edge.
