I am fortunate enough to have a girlfriend who's grandpa is very skilled in woodworking, he has made thousands of hope chests, wall units, boxes, bowls, kitchen units, boxes for cremated ashes (urns I believe?)

I have got this idea to create a box and have my pennies in air tights?

what are your opinions on this?

i have all pennies 1920-2012 to date (missing some very expensive ones but am working on upgrading some!)

should I do full proof sets and specimen sets also, what about the hanging varieties?

I'm not exactly sure what to include, but I'll say it will look impressive! We have a good woodworker/turner in our gallery, so I know the workmanship you're talking about.

Personally, I would exclude hanging varieties. They are not intentional die varieties; if you include them you are compelled to include a vast array of similar strike-related errors. These detract from the main set, IMHO.

1929 high and low 9. If you need one I may have one for sale very shortly.

Are you including coins only available in PL sets, like 1998W, 1999P, 2000W, and 2003WP?

I agree with bibd in regards to hangers......by adding them, you may as well add all of the double dates, and any other die clashes (harp, giutar etc.). It would take away from the set.

Definately not going to be in BU. I wish you luck in finding a high 9 in BU. It won't be easy or cheap.
