I've been stacking Peace dollars lately..US silver dollar coins (90% Silver content). What are your views on them? And what would you suggest for me to stack along side of it to diversify my collection? Thanks.

I say collect (or hoard) whatever silver coin design you like best. Even if you choose older designs which will cost more than spot, the collectiblity value will always increase as more time passes. So you could in fact have a double investment going on.

I've been sifting my stack of Peace dollars, getting rid of the heavily worn ones that are common and keeping the well struck ones. I'm still looking for that full-struck 1921....

The complementary coin to these is the $10 Indian.

I keep them too but consider them the ugliest US coin there is, something about her facial expression.

But they were minted at a time when the country thought they had won the war to end all wars so their historical significance is important. And they're a huge hunk of silver !
