Like I said before, all GREAT suggestions! Not all can work for this type of thread though.

How about the days of 20th Century Type Coins?
Nice idea! Unfortunately, a lot of the 20th Century coins are considered Modern
US coins and don't fit into the Classic
US coins thread section.
Quote:
Days of United States Classic Commemorative coins from 1892-1954.
Unfortunately, kind of the same thing as above except US Commemoratives have their own section.
Quote:
Days of the 20th century mints... short, sweet, and everybody can post something. P, D, S, O. W if you want to include Moderns.
I've found the threads that last longer allow more people to post and encourages more participation. Plus we can't do Moderns on this Forum Section.

Not sure if its been done, but what about Franklins?
I would love to do
Franklin half dollars. Unfortunately, as JBuck said,
Franklin half dollars are Modern
US coins.

How about the 20 Days of Coins- but let's make things a riddle:
Aren't you already doing this thread?

Quote:
25 days of 20th century coins!
Possibly...

(But, We did just do
Standing Liberty quarters and
Walking Liberty half dollars...)

Bust 1/2 cents and cents.
I like this idea...

How about the coin version of Uno?
A VERY cool idea. Unfortunately, IMO, this scenario doesn't give people enough time to plan ahead, (get their Albums/Coins from the Safety Deposit Boxes, photograph and edit them) and then post them in a timely manner since the UNO idea changes so rapidly.

...or one of those dates with a few denominations were made, 1922 comes to mind; only cents, Dollars and St Gaudens.
I don't have a problem with these coins
included, in a larger thread, but this scenario REALLY narrows the participation of the CCF average members... (IMO, we want LOTS of pictures and LOTS of people posting in our "Days of ..." threads).
I've had lots of emails and there are LOTS of good suggestions! Thank you all for all the help!

An announcement of our next thread will be posted in the next couple days. Keep the ideas coming, if you got 'em!
Stay TUNED!
