At 180, most GSA's are a solid deal. Given the severe bag marks on the cheek/nose/face of that particular GSA, I'd grade it about 61, which means you paid market for it. I actually saw this coin and passed on it. *** Edited by Staff - Family Friendly Remember *** They can be addicting!

MS61 at best. A bit baggy but it's a GSA CC Morgan. Congrats!

The $180 price is fine and the coin looks 61 or 62. To that end, I disagree with the sellers ChBU designation which implies MS63 or better. Still, a fair price on a coin that looks 100% genuine to me.

180 is a good deal for the coin. Without the gash in liberty's chin she is a solid 62. I'd be happy with her, now you only have 12 more to go.. good luck.

I agree with most here, nice coin, probably a 61 or 62. Just a couple of suggestions. GSA Dollars came in different holders. Some say "uncirculated silver dollar", and others say just "silver dollar" at the bottom of the holder. You need to learn the difference. Also, there are different types of certificates. Some are numbered and some are not. The numbered ones generally come with the holders that say "uncirculated silver dollar" and the "generic" certificates come with the holders that say "silver dollar". There is a good introductory book that you might enjoy. Carson City Morgan dollars Featuring the Coins of the GSA Hoard, by Adam Crum, Selby Ungar, and Jeff Oxman. This is a very interesting series to collect, and the more you learn about it's history, the the more exciting the collecting becomes. Good Luck.
