Just watched that episode recently. Great classic 70s TV.
Love the CAC sticker.

I saw that one too, but didn't take a picture. I was most impressed by the APMEX display ... a very thick plexiglass display with a hole cut in the top that one could put their hand through. At the bottom was a 419 troy oz bar of .999 gold. First time in my life I picked up half a million in one grab. It was definitely hefty.

Very nice ... I saw this one was bought sometime this year... Corrected if I am wrong but I thought the price was around 3.5 mil.

Thanks for the picture! (Like CAC wouldn't ant their sticker on that coin. Bet they'd put it there if the coin was undergraded!)

Quote: I bet a little acetone will remove that intrusive green sticker some kid stuck on there Bad idea, it would also dissolve and scar the plastic holder. Did you see the other 1913 V nickel at the show?

The other one is the McDermott/Bebee specimen and it was in the ANA exhibit along with the Idler/Bebee class III 1804 dollar. Frankly I was more impressed with the Morris Mark, Unit, and Bit pattern set. Which unfortunately has now been removed from its custom holder and the individual parts are now in PCGS slabs.
