I had been watching the 2012 & 2013 set drop from 42 to 37 then finally to 32 dollars where it currently sits so I bought both sets. I was pretty excited to get them for that price. But I notice no one talks about these sets hardly at all. Why is that? Are they not worth the investment?
Don't get me wrong I love them but just wondering if maybe I should something with more silver in it.

You made a fine purchase.

In my early days of collecting I started to collect the silver quarter proof sets too. After buying 3 sets I realized for a few dollars more I can buy the silver proof set, which has the silver Kennedy half dollar and a silver dime plus all the proof coins. I think most collectors feel the same way. And over time the silver Kennedy proof always carry a high premium. I do buy the silver quarter sets as gifts and the recipients are always pleasantly surprised with their new treasure.

The silver proof set has out sold the silver quarter proof set for over 10 years now.

You can buy coins with higher silver content like the American Silver Eagle, Canadian Maple Leafs, or the 5oz America the Beautiful coins. There are silver bullion rounds and bars in various weights, made by micro-mints you can buy for a few bucks over spot.

The key is to buy what you like.

PS - The price adjustment for the coin sets was due to the price of silver dropping.

I have bought these since the NP series started for gifts for Chirstmas. I have bought a few of the 5 oz as well for places visited for Christmas gifts as well.
