Just got at a yard sale for $1. Questions: Should I try to erase the pencil marks? What value might it have? Thanks all, John1

Nice buy John! I would not erase the marks, it gives it history. Do not know value.

I have a box full of different editions of both the Star Rare Encyclopedia and the Star Coin Book. They are inexpensive to buy and fun to look through. I have been told by a major book seller the 1st through 10th editions are valuable but the rest are extremely common.

Neat find! Keep the pencil marks I say. I would have jumped on that book for that price too.

I agree on leaving the marks. You would do damage to the book if you tried to remove them.
