Picked this up today at a local B&M for CDN AU money. Clashed really hard where the feather outline is on the reverse. The reverse die broke in three places and who knows how long it lasted after the incident. nlp

edit: I never seem to be able to capture the diamonds, FYI 3.5 diamonds.

It should easily grade AU55 or 58 on a good day. Only the high points show light wear and the feathers are crisp. nlp

I like the die cracks more than the clashing, looks like multiple clashes also! Very neat, thanks for sharing this awesome IHC nip_coins!

WOW! Very nice indeed. Did you cherry pick this or did the B & M see the errors?

That's a great looking example and pretty wild clashing/breaks on the reverse. On another note, it appears you have a RPD as well, unless the doubling on the 8 is something else.

All that clashing is what is causing the die to crack and break apart! Maybe the Mint was having a planchet feeding problem that day, I'd be surprised if that die set made it much longer before cudding out and exploding.

Added to the clash and die cracks is that it's a woody too.
LOTS of personality on that coin.
