I need help identifying what error this is. It is very weird, with designs from other coins struck into it. Also, can you please value it? It was struck 1994, and it is MS61/62. Thanks in advance.

Very interesting.
I'll be the first to ask for better (bigger) pics.

Without better/closer pics I would say its glue on the coin.

It could be a lamination or planchet error. The pictures don't show enough detail. Can you describe the errors? Is there extra metal on the surface of the coin, or does it look like pieces of metal are missing. You can see part of the reverse on the obverse, especially the letter 'T' from the reverse word 'CENT', and the bottom the memorial. This could be man made or an actual error but can't tell from your pictures.

It's not glue, and downtownsf, there is an uneven surface (concave) on the coin, and there is another part of the coin struck onto one of the little holes. Very very strange.

I net someone stuck it in a vice between another coin and whatever else. Larger pictures are needed for sure.

It was struck through struck fragments. Its a super nice example. Because of the condition of the coin snd the size of the struck through portions I would say its a $100+ error.

Is the coin bent? No rocking when putting it on a hard surface? Bigger images would help a lot. Include the rim areas.

Earlier I was viewing the photos on my phone and they were actually pretty large there. Now I'm seeing it on my laptop and it does look a little like glue. I'm going to stick with my original assessment though, because the large 'indent' on the reverse still looks like a strike through from these small pics. Nice coin.

It looks like it was struck through pieces of a shattered die. The obverse depression had part of a reverse die embedded in it, which then fell out. The reverse had pieces of the die that did not leave a distinctive impression, and then fell out.

As ErrorCoins222 said, the coin was struck through several metal fragments, at least one of which was struck beforehand. The latter event can also be described as a brockage from a struck fragment.

Seems odd that some how it got struck through fragments on BOTH sides of the coin with a single strike.
