I live in Northern Ontario. Head over to your local Habitat for Humanity. They are having a penny drive (Have been all year actually). I also pay attention when out shopping and read all the charity jugs/jars and read all their flyers. It is a good way to find out which ones are having the charity drives and then contact them. If they are undecided about whether or not it is a good idea to sell them to you over taking them to the bank...offer them $2 a box over the the box/bag cost and it will usually loosen them up. After all...even if you do not find anything worthwhile in the box/bag...the extra you payed goes to a good cause. You can also approach any local food banks as they get quite a bit of donations. I have one in my area that will call me when they get $50 in cents. Just keep your eyes open and do not be afraid to ask...all they can say is no. If they are still hesitant...you can also let them know that selling to you will save them time and money in the long run with not having to take the time to take them to the bank themselves. Two hundred dollars in cents is quite heavy to the average person to have to drag to the bank. :)
Cheers.
Just cracked the first roll from one of the two boxes...very excited. The rest are in the $25 plastic bank bags.
