From what I see on the reverse above USA the plating is split. And the doubling of the date is Die Deterioration.

The reverse does look like split plating.

No error or doubled die/variety.
Both rev. and obv. are very commom
things on the zinc cents.

I'm still looking for 5 things from 1965
silver dime, silver quarter, 90% silver half
Another G.T.O. (had one back in the early 70's)
Stupid me sold it a few years later. And a harley panhead.
Had a 48 (first yr. made) now the 65 (last yr. made)
I do mean though at a reasonable price Ha,ha
