All markers from CC present, but mint mark photos show classic rpm 6.

I had my doubts about the location and it is a dead on match. Thanks for choosing the correct way to set this coin to horizontal. I use the bottoms of the 9 & 5. Coppercoins images also used the same alignment. So I didn't have to correct if on either coin. I see you used a secondary light on the bottom of the mint mark. That good for showing split lower images. But there is still a little glare. What are you using to diffuse your light source?

My primary is on microscope, about 20 degrees from overhead. Light is to powerful so have to cut down on brightness of exposure. This creates highlights. Secondary light movable lamp with 26 watt fluorescent. Get my best pictures when morning light coming in window.

The morning light I also use at the right time of day. But for later day shots I have a book light that works for me and I can adjust how little/much light I need and can move it around. Bur from your primary source till it hits the coin can you make a curtain of plastic grocery bag to diffuse the glare. I've used plastic grocery bags, facial tissue (one sheet or two depending on the light) very thin wrapping paper or rice paper, or even bond typing paper (1 or more sheets depending on how strong the light is and if it is close an other forum member uses 1/2 of a ping pong ball as a diffuser. All very inexpensive items. You just have to experiment to see which one works the best.

My microscope light is 14 watts from a 12V source. Something I fixed up to do the job. I bought a fiber light with two leads and a ring light. Spent big money on them, but the cheaper light source works for me. The expensive is just sitting in storage. 8(

You just have to experiment to get it right. Keep what works, get rid of what don't. Sometimes a mistake will be the solution you need.
