with MS64, however, if thats a scratch on the cheek and not on the holder, I'd go MS63.

Always hard to grade coins in slabs, when looking at pictures only.
It always has to be determined if the scratch is on the slab, or on the coin.

Easy to find that out, if the slab is 'in hand', just look at the slab at a shallow angle. If you see twin images of a scratch, the scratch must be on the slab:
1) the scratch on the slab, and
2) a shadow of it, which reflects from the surface of the coin.

If you see a single image of a scratch, it must be on the surface of the coin.

I will assume that all scratches that can be seen, are on the coin.
If so, then MS63.

nice luster, weak strike on reverse. the toning on the reverse is mottled which affects eye appeal and value a little but not much. I agree with everyone, MS64 but the number of scratches on the obv and the mottled reverse could drop this to a 63.

The only thing keeping me from 65 for this one is the prominence of the scratch on the cheek and whatever the heck is going on at the 1 in the date.

I was thinking 65 when I first saw it (luster is amazing) but after flipping it over, 64 sounds about right. Paid $25 for it.
