I just found a 1917 s two feather. But it's acid restored.
I bought four rolls of mixed buffalo's off ebay for 36 dollars.

Well,
76 were no dates. (70 without mint marks)

20+ are in F-12 (Gave up grading)
5 VF-20
1 XF-40

I found a 1919 P, two feather but it looks like the dummy, I mean seller restored the date.
Perhaps, all the buffalo's are common dates.

So here's the 1917 S two feathers

A normal Buffalo nickel has 3 feathers. You see how he's wearing one large one, one medium? There should be a small one next to his neck.

I don't remember what it's called but I think it's from the die wearing out.

I think it was from die polishing.
Same thing that resulted in the 3-leg buffalo.
