mr. potter writes article for them, he brought the coin to them, not me, But since I never showed him the one with a transferred S in the field, I think his first article on it was correct and heres the first article he wrote http://www.numismaticnews.net/artic...k-eyed-grant

My last and final question. Did Ken Potter tell you that your coin is a DDO-1 Yes or No ?

I am in serious doubt that he told you that. It is obvious it (1959) is not a Doubled Die. Sure you weren't confused...kinda like we all are now? What does the Presidential dollar have to do with this conversation?

I really think this thread has reached the point where attentions are better focused in more productive areas....

I agree. Keep with the same subject as the thread was started with. Keep positive with our comments. No use for a bullying attitude. Let the images speak for themselves.

Coin is a Machine Double,,I see Kennedy's all the time Machine Doubles its the Machine Triple's when it comes to Machine mess up.NOT a Doubled Die Coin,,guy need more rounded edges which the coin does NOT have,,Double Strike's or Machine Strikes or Machine Doubles,,,whatever you want to call them,,for Penny's are about 1 in 300 coins so they are some what rare..If you do not think it takes that long to find one open 6 penny rolls I bet you will not find before that,,Kennedy's 1-20 coins lots of Machine Doubles in the Kennedy's,Penny's not so much..Do not sell it yet and do not go spend that penny,,but do not call it a Doubled Die its just not,,,Cosmos
