Let me know what you think this could grade, it's the finest 43 steel cent I've gotten

I am not good at grading but I would say au50. But I would pass on it because of the dent on the shoulder,IMHO. John1

I'll go with AU-53.
Looks like there is a slight lamination issue going on with the left hand side of the wheat thingamabobber.
Nice!

Thanks everyone, was hoping it would actually grade MS, oh well. I am going to have to disagree with the AU53 grade though and say it's an AU55. Based on the PCGS photograde, the au53 shows less details on the wheat stalks then the au55. I would say AU58/MS60, but it has a couple small dings (shoulder and I in America). Also John1, I found this in a coin roll that I got on ebay! Afterimage, I checked it again and there was unfortunately no lamination error on the wheat stalk :(

XF-45, marks and scratches on the front, few marks on the letters for the back. Don't look like it has enough hair for AU grades

You do realize you can buy these in MS65 for about $3?

Those are slabbed, go to a coin show and you can buy all of the steel issues in raw 64/65 grades for cheap. I've seen all 3 together for less than $10.
