Canada Post just released a boatload of NHL Hockey Stamps....Does this mean the Mint is going to bombard us with more Hockey Coins as well.

Anyone have word on the October Release?

Yes, they are honouring referees this year. There is going to be a circulation quarter for every hand signal. Crosschecking, tripping, diving, interference, roughing, misconduct, high sticking, spearing, boarding, charging, hooking, and delay of game.

And in addition to the quarters there will be two special RCM commemorative silver hologram coins for (over) charging and delay of game!

I heard they were doing a Mr. Dressup series.

There's a Casey world's first ever holographic with all new radioactive transformation technology, a Finnegan coin and stamp lenticular, an Aunt Bird gold 1/25oz with selective enamel painting, and of course a 5oz coloured silver featuring Dressup himself in drag.

Next up; the Friendly Giant. Really looking forward to the "I'll call Rusty" ultra high relief commemorative silver dollar.

Shame on you CC-Ottawa!

I can't believe that you forgot to mention the $200 for $200 "Giraffe in motion" coin featuring:

It's ridiculous... with Christmas coming, how much new coins do you expect the mint will release, 25, 50, 75, 100?

Haven't seen these anywhere else yet but I guess they are coming.

edt: Canadian coins have them too at 29.95 - wonder why the mint isn't selling them yet

Hey, I like that $200 for $200 "giraffe in motion" idea NuMoosey. A glow-in-the-dark Jerome would be cool too.

How about adding a Murano glass rocking chair or recorder to the mix?

I haven't seen them on the RCM web site yet, but they are all available from Gatewest for $29.95 each in a 2014 "Coin & Stamp" set.
